 About Me

I grew up in the northwest suburbs of Illinois! I completed my undergraduate work in Mathematics with an emphasis in teaching from Illinois State University in 2010 and I completed my graduate work in mathematics education from Aurora University in 2018. This is my 11th year of teaching and I am so excited to make a positive impact in this year's group of students! I enjoy sports, traveling, and spending as much time with my family and friends as I can.

Why I Love To Teach

  • I love working with kids

  • I love to teach my students about life

  • I love it when my students understand a(n) math/engineering concept

  • I love making my students laugh

  • The joke I hear....the top three reasons for becoming a teacher are June, July, and August...well my top ten reasons for teaching are August, September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, and May!
